Close encounters
If you look at life as a puzzle, chances are you won’t be able to solve it. And if you believe it as straight passage, you will be able to travel this long and reach your destination. This is my belief. There are many things in our life that we don’t expect, that we don’t like, that we don’t find any reason for. You know what, I label them as “Close enconters with life and its truth…”
I have had many close encounters with truth, the kind of signals that life gives you. I mean sometime you are confronted with such situations which are real and true, and you don’t have any chance to change them. These situations are those one which you hate whole-heartedly, don’t expect them, afraid of their consequences. But you just have to accept them, life teaches you how to face them. Life is at its best teaching you how to live it.
Sometime, an event or tragedy happens, you believe how cruel actually life is. But my dear, I would say, you had a close encounter with the thing called life. Later you realise whatever happened is actually good and sigh that why don’t you converted the signal into meaningful or purposeful sign. Actually, it is the rule of nature. If you lose something, you will win something. If you sacrifice something, you will gain something.
One of my teachers used to say, if there is rain today, tommorow or someday other it will go dry. It rained today, probably because it was dry someday. This is how things have been arranged in a form and interlinked and dependent on/with each other.
You just have to wait, life will come and hold up your collars, and stare into your eyes and ask “Do you want to be happy or sad?”. If you choose happy, you will have to choose sad someday and if you choose sad, you will be happy someday. This is how whole scheme of things work. My dear, you had a close encounter with a thing called life and its truth…
Random thoughts
Start to shut
Well this is really interesting, we have been using start button to shut down windows for many years. How strange, when we want to shut down our computer we click start>>shut down. There is no question of shutting down something without ever starting it. Hope Microsoft notices this and later fixes it 😉 LOL (Don’t mind my stupid thoughts they are stupid as much as they are random)
Why I don’t watch so much T.V.?
Excessive television watching prevents the formation of new neuronal connections in the brain. Children, who watched too much television was found to be aggressive, had decreased attention span, and scholastically backward. Television cuts down study time and play time. It decreases social interactions, creative play and complex problem solving.
Take your time…
Okay, this may seem awkward but I am repeating it again and again, sorry for getting updates late. I am really struggling to strike a balance between this life and that life. I got myself admitted to IELTS course. So, you know pretty much, I am busy just a little bit. Never mind, AS USUAL, updates will keep coming.
Offline blog editor

As you know I compose most of my blog entries off-line, I am working on a small project called offline blog editor. This helps to let you compose blog posts just as you would do it online. To be specific, it is an html-cum-blog editor. It is not great but it is somewhat helpful and come in handy sometime.
It is simple, it lets you compose your blog entry off-line and then save them to a text file (which is html based). However, it does not allow you to update the blog itself. You have to do it yourself. You need to copy the content of text file into your online blog editor. It has some features (which may work or NOT) which usually the online editor does not have.
I will continue it (and release it for free) only if I find that people really need it. (Participate in the poll below to let me know).
For suggestions drop me a message. You can also post your comments below.!
Help me in choosing a career
I am thinking of making creative use of new “Create Poll” feature of Yahoo 360. As you already know I am giving out my +2 examinations soon I will be faced with the decision to choose what profession I would like to be in. And this time I want your help.
I always wanted to be a software engineer. My dad and sister say I should go for MBA programme (I don’t know about job prospects). While my mom suggests that I should do hotel management (keeping in mind my quality of being hungry all the time). I am confused. My friends (for that matter my close friend) wants me to do BCA. I was also thinking to go to Canada for further studies.
To be frank, I think I am interested in all of them (I wish I could do them all, but I am one). I don’t feel these are being forced unto me, they are my well-wishers and they have right to think about my career and further they are giving me full freedom to choose whatever I want to do.
But let me know your opinion also. Suppose if you were in my place what would you do?
Well, I updated my interests

It is not possible that someone can update his/her interests overnight. By updating my interests I mean that I have updated my personal info section with the actual interests I have. Previous it was “I love developing and playing games”, I wrote it in the hurry.
Blogging
What should I say? You should know that blogging has become my favorite and I just love the idea. And I am really hooked up to it. Every now and then, I am think of updating my blog and finding content (which is its worth) of posting here.
Music
I already have written a lot about on music here in. You can see
Digital Video and photography.
I should say I am a avid photographer. I really love the concept of digital photography. Most of the time, during my prime hours I indulge myself into music creation and editing, digital photography and then digital video editing. By digital, I mean a spectrum of things. And what is inspiration to me is the kudos that I get from my friends when I show them my creations, they just love it and very often some avoid themselves to comment on it.
Game and software development
When I am not engaging in activities of music and video you will found me finding a small punctuation error on the screen due to which my whole software or program become crippled. I am talking about programming. I love it (and I would like it to be my profession). I have created many useful programs for myself (which I think are useful to me only and not others). I also, sometime back, thought of learning how to develop video (or computer) games. And it miserably failed. Anyway, I learnt a lot about how games work and what the tools behind them are.
Genetic Engineering
I was a good student of biology. I loved it, though I am not interested in scratching someone’s skin to know what is beneath I was (and is) interested in genetic engineering and the way hormones works. I mean they are the driving force behind everything we do, we are, we want, we feel. I will carry a detail article on it later. (My bio teacher asked me once why not medical stream? I cherish that moment; she has over-estimated my ability to become a good medical student)
Social networking and Poetry
I love making friends online. This help to expand your world and the horizon to which your mind can think. I love making contacts, people with different outlook and backgrounds interests me. But then I suspect ordinary people are the source of my inspiration. And one thing more, poetry. My favorite pastime, sitting in a dark room and waiting the electricity cut to take over I might be working on a poetry idea in my mind. I don’t know, but then I feel that why I write poems? What makes some one to write poems? I mean may be the environment or maybe the circumstances. I find it easy to express myself better through the means of poems.
